For our fifth annual two day event, the Scottish Centre has moved to a new base at Peebles in the Scottish Borders. Some of you may remember it as the lunch stop on the 2015 run. It is a picturesque and unspoilt Borders market town on the River Tweed, 23 miles from Edinburgh and a great centre for the runs on Tuesday and Wednesday. We have arranged for a B&B rate of £100 per room for a twin and £80 for single occupancy. There will be a Dinner and Social on Tuesday night which will be £25 for the 3 course meal. There are a limited number of rooms available, so please book early by contacting the hotel directly mentioning the run.
Camping is available at the Rosetta Holiday Park site in the town, http://www.rosettaholidaypark.com . Again, please book early for the event.

Payment of the entry fee of £10 (£5 per day) will be collected on the Tuesday morning prior to the first run.

ENTRY DECLARATION; I/we, the signatories, apply to enter the event described above and in consideration thereof:-
1. I/we declare that I/we will comply with the requirements of the Highway Code and the instructions of the organisers and their officials insofar as they apply to the conduct of the event.
2. I/we further agree that I am/we are physically and mentally fit to take part in the event and am/are competent to do so.
3.I/we confirm that I/we understand the nature and type of the event and the risk inherent when entering and agree to accept the same notwithstanding that such risks may involve negligence on the part of the organisers/officials.
4.I/we further agree that I/we will not seek to claim against the Velocette Owners Club., the organisers or their officials, the landowners, the promoter or other bodies or individuals connected with the event in respect of any loss, damage, costs, claims or expenses that I have suffered or incurred, except for liability for death or personal injury arising out of the negligence of the Velocette Owners Club, the organisers or their officials, the landowners, the promoter or other bodies or individuals connected with the event
5. I/wefurther agree that the machine which I/we enter and ride/drive during the event shall be suitable and proper for its purpose, shall be insured as required by the Road Traffic Act or equivalent legislation and that it will comply with the regulations in respect thereof.
